Almatec Mobile Pumping Systems

Working with a market-leading supplier of chemical cleaning solutions across the UK it was identified that a number of mobile pumping stations were required to pump chemicals from different blend vessels around the site.

Pumps
The pumps selected were Almatec E40ETT units with UHMWPE bodies and PTFE diaphragms and ball valves which give excellent chemical compatibility.

Dry running
The ability to run dry without damage was a key reason for selecting the Almatec pump, as they would be used to batch fill various containers until the bulk blend vessel was totally empty.

Integral pulsation dampers
The pumps were fitted with ET40-EFT dampers which mount directly to the pump centre housing so no extra pipework is required. The dampers will take out in excess of 90% of pulsation during pump operation.

Each system was supplied with:

  • Stainless steel trolley
  • Isolation valves
  • Air filter / regulator
  • Compressor air lines
  • Drain point
  • Quick connections to the suction and discharge lines

The systems were fully tested ready for use.
